Editor's Note: It's all about HKDL today, but there is also a good news from Shanghaî as Shanghaî mayor Han Zheng announced that SDL construction would begin in May, with hopes for completion in 2014 and a public opening in 2015. As announced previously, the Shanghai government will own 57% and Disney will own 43% of the £2.3 billion project.

Bonjour Alain , could this be the most expensive disney park every to be built ? if you take in to count the cheap (ish) price of land , materials and ofcourse labour costs in china ?

Frankly, i can't answer to this question. The only thing i know is that everything cost more money today than 10 or 20 years ago. So, although they will probably save a lot of money on the chineses labour costs, as WDI costs are probably higher than when they built DLP the final cost should remain high.
