WDW New Fantasyland: Enchanted Tales with Belle - Full Show

You saw last Friday the Imagineering video that introduced the amazing Lumière and Wardrobe Audio-Animatronics but now, thanks to TouringPlans who uploaded these new videos on Youtube you'll be able to see the full show of the new "Enchanted Tales with Belle" attraction at WDW New Fantasyland.

The first video below show the entrance in Maurice's cottage and the first room. In the second video you'll see the great "magic mirror" effect and the direct entrance to the castle with Wardrobe AA. And the third video is showing the full show with Lumière and Belle in the last room. Watching the full show confirms that the Audio-Animatronics are incredibly perfect, and also that there is probably two rooms with Wardrobe, just like pre-show rooms before guests enter the main one with Lumière. It's interesting as this might help to have a too long wait as, while some guests will enjoy the show with Lumière and Belle, others will be already in the first room with Wardrobe, etc.. The whole show is definitely a show for very young children but it's good that WDI creates attractions for them and i'm sure they will enjoy it a lot. As for us, we will for sure be amazed with the theming, special effects and the brilliant Audio-Animatronics.

Well done ...BUT
As an adult, nothing Id want to see more than once .
Walt wanted the park to be for the whole family .
Doubt if Universal will have sleepless nights about this

I'm not even going to leave my opinion, because I know that I'm not a part of the target audience.

I'll only say that it doesn't interest me at all...

By the way, do they want to turn the MK into a park mostly for little children?

What a great attraction. It reminds me of what an Imagineer said, back when Buzz Lightyear was introduced, that today's generation of children with their video games and apps are much more interested in participating with the show rather then their grandparent's TV generation which passively watched the show before them. There are two problems with the first two cynical posts. First, parents are adults as well; thus arguably this is more all family oriented than an attraction that leans more heavily towards adults. Secondly, to react as they have they are missing the cutting edge technology, immersive environment, and most of all the fact that no attraction lives in a bubble: it's all part of the bigger show.

What a great attraction. The technology and storytelling are interwoven to give a sense of place and participation. I can only imagine what Toontown would look like if it were to be introduced today. It may not be for the most cynical adult, but it does deliver a child's fantasy of visiting where the character lives. To say this is only for children, and thus void of merit, would wipe out half of the attractions of the park. I say well done.

Not every attraction suits every Guests desires. For me, thesis the most amazing character meet and greet the Imagineers have ever created. Great storytelling that the Guest's are directly taking part, with amazing effects (the magic mirror is worth it by itself!) and awesome Audio Animatronics (who doesn't love great AA's?!). I am blown away. The brief glimpses of the surrounding exterior of the land looks awesome too. The Imagineers have knocked this one out of the ball park.

I was born in 1983 Ramon, so I grew up with video games as much as any kid of today (even though they were much less sophisticated).

I know that interactivity is a trend, and a welcome one in my opinion, but I still have no interest at all in this new "attraction", and think that it's only for kids. I know that little kids (especially girls) might love it, but it's not for me, that's why I said that I wouldn't even comment.

By interactive attractions I imagine something really different than that. Toy Story Mania is a lot of fun, and I really enjoy it, but I prefer real environments and AA's to Simulations and Videos any time.

So I guess that TSM could be one model to base future interactive attractions, and I also think that Mission: Space in Epcot could also be another model, if done in a better way, because I think that it's a great attraction, but the interactivity is really lame; they should have done it in a way that guests inputs are more elaborate and really affect the outcome of the mission.

Finally, the thing that I would most like to see would be an attraction in which guests interact in real environments with AA's. Not like Buzz, which is mostly flats and it doesn’t happen anything if you hit the targets (besides a light), I think that even the old shooting gallery in Frontierland is more exciting than that, but the best model for me would be something more like MIB from Universal, with enhanced interactivity.

And I really don't think that half of the park's attractions are just for children at all.

And even though I don't think that half of the MK attractions are just for children, unfortunately the majority of the new additions are, and I really hope that this is not a lasting trend...
