Fantastic Beasts And Where to Find Them Short Review

Just coming back to watch in theaters Fantastic Beasts and where to find them, and i liked it a lot. I think i've even preferred it to the Potter movies, at least the last ones. And action happen in the New York of 1926, a NY era that we don't see that often and that i love, personally. Eddie Redmayne who plays the main character - Newt Scamander - is excellent and while watching the movie i had the feeling that i saw him somewhere, and indeed he was the one who played physicist Stephen Hawking in "The Theory of Everything", a role for which he won in 2014 the Academy Award, Screen Actors Guild Award, the BAFTA and Golden Globe awards for Best Actor in a Leading Role. And by the way he plays Newt Scamander a bit the same way he did play Stephen Hawking. The rest of the cast is very good too, and directing, storyline and visual effects are all excellent. So, i strongly recommend Fantastic Beasts to you.

One more thing - and WARNING, big spoiler ahead, so read at your own risk! : as we know Johnny Depp will play Gellert Grindelwald in the next four "Fantastic Beasts" movies, and we've seen already a picture of the back of his head ( a shot in the opening sequence ). But you WILL see him as Grindelwald from the front. Actually, and although we just see Depp/Grindelwald in these two short sequences the character of Grindelwald is present in the whole movie... but we discover it only at the end. And i don't tell you how.

Below, another poster and the final trailer.
