First trailer For "Night at the Museum : Secret of the Tomb" - to be Released This December!
I don't know if you liked the "Night at the Museum" film series but i did ( at least the first one which i enjoyed a lot ). But if you did liked them i have a good news for you as a new film titled "Night at the Museum : Secret of the Tomb" is coming soon.
Larry - always played by Ben Stiller - leaves New York City for London on a quest to save the magic before it is gone forever, and the cat of the previous film - Robin Williams, Owen Wilson, Mickey Rooney ( in what was probably his last film ), etc... - will be joined by Sir Ben Kingsley, Ricky Gervais and... Dick Van Dyke!
So, this time they all move to world famous London British Museum as you will see in the first trailer below. If we except what looks to me like a small mistake - Dinosaurs are at london's Natural History Museum and not the British Museum - the whole thing should be fun and will be released this December!

First Picture of Shanghaî Disneyland Castle Model
We've seen Shanghaî Disneyland castle in artworks or CGI renderings but here is what i think is the first picture showing a WDI model of the castle. The picture was shot apparently during a visit at WDI in Glendale, although it could have been shot at SDL office in Shanghaî. You can see a few more by going on the blog indicated at the bottom of the picture.

First Pictures of Universal Studios Beijing Land - Opening Scheduled for 2018
Shanghaî Disneyland will open end 2015 and they shouldn't have any major competitor in China before 2018, when Universal Studios Beijing will open. It's been a long time since we heard about Universal coming to China main land but this time it seems that this is it, and Stefan Zwanzger, The Theme Park Guy is back with pictures of the location where the park will be built, near Beijing. Considering there is hundred of kilometers between Beijing and Shanghaî the opening of Universal Studios Beijing shouldn't hurt too much SDL although it probably will have an impact on people from Beijing coming to SDL.
On the top you have a picture of the land for the future Universal Studios Beijing and the picture below, according to Stefan show the ground being prepared for future works.
Unfortunately, as it is often the case some villages had to be destroyed without mercy and villagers will have to move to another place. Please note that no official announcement has been down yet either from Universal of the Chinese. And now, jump to The Theme Park Guy to see more pictures HERE.

Disneyland Paris Update Part Two
Here is the part two of the Disneyland Paris update that you were waiting for and this time we'll go to the Disneyland Park. Max, D&M contributor and DLPWelcome webmaster shot these pictures the same cloudy day than the Ratatouille photos you've seen last week but since the weather is now much better, good to know for those of you going at DLP anytime soon.
At Town Square the themed canvas are now in place on Main Street Transportation Co as well as on Boardwalk Candy palace facade, hiding the restoration works happening behind them. The transformation of Main Street Photography in the newly themed shop called "New Century Notions - Unique Flora's Boutique" are now over and it will open tomorrow August 1. New sun-blinds also appeared on the windows of the upper floors.
Ambassadeurs Disneyland Paris has posted some pictures of the new shop on their Facebook page. Here is a selection and you can see more HERE.
I don't know what you think, but personally i sincerely regrets the former Main Street Photography shop on which Eddie Sotto spent so much time to perfect the theming. But let's be fair and give them the benefit of the doubt until it opens and that we see more of this new shop.
The Harrington clock is at last working again!
In Adventureland the shop nearby Indiana Jones Temple of Peril is now open again, which was not the case when the ride re-opened two months ago after six months of refurbishment.
In Frontierland the sets of the Tarzan show which was stopped since Sept 2012 are being removed from Chaparral Stage.
Space Mountain Mission 2 has reopened early July with the entire security system redone. The surveillance cameras present in the attraction and queues have all been replaced with new models which can see better as they're now equipped for night vision. The smoke effects on the cannon were reactivated like they do now every year before the summer season...
The Autopia photo location is in refurbishment.
At Star Tours entrance the X_Wing fighter deserve a refurbishment as not only the painting gets old but moss is now also appearing...
Let's move now to the Walt Disney Studios where a surprise awaits guests at the Aladdin Flying Carpet ride as a new background canvas was installed, showing the city of Agrabah.
At Catastrophe canyon the water couldn't arrive anymore on the left side of the set when Max did the ride. They probably have resolved the problem by now.
Nothing special is happening on the Reign of Fire set if we except the decor falling apart little by little but in this case, considering that the decor is showing a city in ruins, i suppose that it adds to the theming!
See you very soon for the part three of this update as DLP hotels are also in refurbishment and, boy, how they needed it!

Great 1950's Style Guardians of the Galaxy Poster
I love this 1950's style Guardians of the Galaxy poster, and for two reasons: first i think that Stefan Lawrence who did it did a great job in this "1950's" design. And, two, because it reminds me the time when movies posters were GREAT and promising an amazing adventure and not like they are now, a formula that anyone steal to another for a generally pretty mediocre or all-similar-result at the end.

Will Christopher Nolan Interstellar Beat Stanley Kubrick 2001, A Space Odyssey ?
We've got a new trailer for one of the most awaited movie of the year, and i'm talking about "Interstellar" from Christopher Nolan to be released November 7. Matthew McConaughey is starring in it with Bill Irwin, Ellen Burstyn, Casey Affleck, Topher Grace, David Oyelowo, Wes Bentley, Matt Damon, and John Lithgow. It's suppose dot be the most ambitious "space" movie since 2001: A Space Odyssey but it's not the first time a film try to beat Kubrick's 2001 and so far A Space Odyssey is still at the top, so we'll see if they succeed.
If the trailer below don't work go on the film website HERE and enter as password: 7201969 - the date of the Apollo 11 moon landing.
If you've missed the previous trailer, showing different footage, here it is.

Beautiful Picture of WDW Magic Kingdom Swan Boat And Cinderella Castle
Disney Parks has posted this beautiful shot showing the top of the famous and longtime extinct WDW Magic Kingdom Swan Boats, with Cinderella castle in the background. The picture was shot shortly after WDW MK opening, and the Swan Boats ride didn't lasted a long time, unfortunately.
