ALL Shanghaî Disneyland Best Rides and Shows HD Videos !
After all these months and dozens of articles about the making and opening of Shanghaî Disneyland, here is one more post about Disney's newest Magic Kingdom with what i consider the best videos available for each major attraction. If some ride videos are missing it's either because they didn't exist or the quality was too low. And we'll start by one favourite, filmed during the trial days, a 90 minutes walk through the whole park and the discovering of it through the eyes of a young Chinese boy, for whom obviously it was the first steps in a Disney theme park.
Let's have a look now land by land, and we'll start by a video of Shanghaî Disneyland Mickey Avenue. This one is an official video with all the flaws that corporate videos can have but it's also one with unique shots so it worth to have a look at it.
Another official video this time showing a tour of the Gardens of Imagination.
A video of Once Upon a Time Adventure, located inside SDL castle. Theme Park University has filmed the whole walk-through and its visual effects of this unique attraction entirely dedicated to Snow White.
Fantasyland Voyage to the Crystal Grotto : the sky was a bit cloudy when Theme Park University filmed the video of the boat ride but it's still the best so far, specially for the ending sequence and the visual effects inside the crystal grotto located under Enchanted Storybook castle.
Peter Pan's Flight ride. The low light sensitivity of the camera of So Cal Attractions 360 is doing miracles in the filming of this new version of the beloved dark ride.
Alice in Wonderland Maze: WenHasBeenThere filmed Alice's labyrinth with a GoPro camera and its hyper wide angle which is just perfect here to see everything of the maze!
Same for The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh where WenHasBeenThere GoPro wide angle allows to have a large view of the ride sets.
Adventure Isle Roaring Rapids, so far the best video which also shows well Q'araq, the Audio-Animatronic creature of the raft ride.
Soaring Over the Horizon: Great video filmed by daredaroune?yokohama which include the pre-show and queue movies, and of course the ride movie itself.
The whole Tarzan : Call of the Jungle show, filmed by Matthew Eberle, in three parts below.
Treasure Cove Pirates of Caribbean : Battle for the Sunken Treasure: the low light sensitivity of So Cal Attractions 360 camera deliver without any doubt the best video of this stunning POTC ride!
The full show of Treasure Cove Captain Jack's Stunt Spectacular. This one, filmed by Matthew Eberle, doesn't have the long intro in Chinese before the curtains goes up but it is filmed near the stage and allows a better viewing of the show.
The amazing TRON Lightcycles Power Run coaster filmed by So Cal Attractions 360. In this case the low light sensitivity of the camera almost "light" a bit too much the scenes. But it also allows to see them better than in others videos.
Buzz Lightyear Planet Rescue, filmed by So Cal Attractions 360, and in 4K!
A video of Shanghaî Disneyland Mickey Story Book Express Day Parade, posted on Youtube by Attractions Magazine.
Golden Fairy Tale Fanfare Castle Show, filmed by Matthew Eberle, in two parts.
Shanghaî Disneyland Ignite the Dream Fireworks show, filmed by Renato Wang.
And, for those of you who would have missed it, or simply would like to see it again, here is the full HD video of Shanghaî Disneyland Grand Opening Celebration show!

Are Guardians of Galaxy, TRON and Ratatouille Rides Coming to Epcot?
Is the future of Epcot looking bright again? The new Frozen ride is extremely successful and the new Soaring movie is another brilliant addition but according to several sources Disney may has big plans for Epcot and P_Radden posted on WDWmagic this summary of things to come, indicating what is already greenlit or not:
- Universe of Energy is getting a GotG ( guardians of Galaxy ) overhaul, green lit.
- Wonders of Life might get a GotG phase 2, not yet green lit.
- Communicore (outside of mouse gear and starbucks, possibly club cool) will be updated/overhauled, green lit.
- Mission Space will get a refurb/update, green lit.
- There are plans for Imagination, but not green lit yet.
- The Land and Seas pavilions as well as Test Track and Space Ship Earth will remain as is.
Now, according to a short article of WDWNT an "Epcot riddled by IPs may be on the way". More specifically a TRON attraction similar to the one at Shanghaî Disneyland Tomorrowland and a Ratatouille ride like the one at DLP Walt Disney Studios for, of course, the France area at Epcot World Showcase.
It would make perfectly sense to have a TRON ride at Epcot Future World and it's may be even the ride that the park is waiting for to have its attendance rising spectacularly at last, though the new Frozen ride should help for that, too.
Same for the Ratatouille ride which would fit perfectly in the France area, but there is a bit more to say about this one. Although WDI Imagineers can do a "copy and paste" of the TRON ride which seems perfect as it is - though if they can make the ride a bit longer no one would blame them - some changes would be needed on the Ratatouille one to make it even more enjoyable. When the ride opened at DLP WDS everyone was under the charm of the stunning Parisian theming - indoor or outdoor - and so far guests like very much the ride, but ...all this and the huge amount of money spent on this mini-land didn't had the expected result in financial terms or even in attendance that the WDC was hoping for.
What went wrong? The WDC generally always blame France and European economy for the poor financial results of the resort and they're not totally wrong, to be fair. But for Ratatouille it's a bit different. Re-creating a Paris area when you have the real one at 40 minutes from the park is not as exotic for the guests as another environment. It's fun, but it don't transport you in another world like Frontierland or Adventureland can do, for instance. At Epcot it's different because Parisian architecture is so far from Florida. And that won't have to build it as "France" is already built at World Showcase. Basically they need only a backstage show building to install the ride which will save a lot of money. Now, about the ride itself. First time i did it i liked it of course because the Imagineers work and theming is wonderful. But did i wanted to ride it again and again when i've exit? May be not, and that's indicates there was some thrills missing in it. I understand that the goal was to create a family ride which would fit for every age, and specially young children, but i think there is still some margin of improvements to make it more memorable while not too hard to ride for children. Some details can be also fixed easily. For instance the fact that you can see during the ride the bottom of the screens destroy a bit the feeling of immersion. Hiding the bottom of these screens shouldn't be the most difficult thing to do.
I've even more concerns about the Universe of Galaxy overlay with a Guardians of Galaxy theme and the UOE pavilion could close as soon as Fall 2016. Though i'm happy to hear that WDW DHS Tower of Terror will be preserved i'm not really happy of this GoG version in UOE. I don't see them keeping the Dinosaurs scenes with a GoG storyline so i guess we can say bye-bye to them, which is a big mistake as kids love Dinos as everyone should know. After World of Motion and the beloved Horizons ride it will be one more original Epcot ride which will disappear. If they really don't want to pay for a new show building why don't they use the one of Wonders of Life which is closed since years, and just a few yards from the Universe of Energy pavilion? And by the way, if they really want to make Universe of Energy a more exciting ride while keeping the Dinos i've got a great Dinos ride concept waiting for them HERE which would fit perfectly.
Of course, what they want to do is to use IPs in the hope it will attract guests to the park, but GoG is not Frozen and i'm not sure the IP attraction effect will last as long as they hope. As for a TRON ride which indeed could find its place better at Future World it's a different problem as this time the cost could be higher, except if they decide to get rid of the beautiful - but probably expensive to build - TRON canopy that exist at Shanghaî Disneyland.
So far, all of these are rumors and of course must be considered like this until official announcements.

After SDL Grand Opening Excitement, Is the Wind Already Turning For Shanghaî Disneyland ?
Christopher is a faithful Disney and more reader and he's coming back from Shanghaî Disneyland! He sent me his comments about the park with interesting infos and here is the translation - you also have the original text in french below:
I just returned from Shanghai Disneyland! The park is fantastic, I stayed 3 days and i was never bored.
I just wanted to give you my feelings and provide information that is not often given.
First: the attendance: not terrible, on weekdays the park barely had more than 15,000 guests. Yes, it is little. Result: reasonable queues for us. What is especially interesting is to see how the Chinese do not have the same expectations than us.
Where in other parks we just look for the "classics" Peter Pan’s Flight, etc ... I waited 5 mins for this attraction! Same for Pirates of Caribbean. The longest wait was for Soaring over the Horizon and Roaring Rapids.
The Chinese come for the attractions but could not care less for the characters. I saw Baloo or the poor Duffy wait for guests who did not come to see them!
Culture also is very different: no applause at the end of shows ( at Ignite the magic, for example ).
The lack of savoir vivre is stunning: Queues turned into trash, urine everywhere ... They do not seem to appreciate the quality at fair value.
The scams are also huge: ponchos sold by "guests" in the queue - yes, you read correctly, a parallel business WITHIN the park - others were selling fake fastpass to enter through the attraction exit...
State police is present to prevent riots in the event of 101 ( when a ride has a technical problem )… Which is something very very common, breakdown and rides re-start never stopped during 3 days.
Then, in terms of buying merchandise we saw very few guests with bags... And the restaurants are not full. It is expensive for a Chinese as it is our European prices!
Other information: hotels are only accessible with a reservation. They are closed to outsiders. We must give our reservation number to enter. But it is not so bad because people go everywhere and take care of nothing.
The cast members already seem exasperated except with us caucasians with whom they are adorable.
Otherwise again this park is amazing, neat, detailed, far to have been done on the cheap. Any place in the park is superb.
I wish you a good visit of this park soon. Sad that you stop your site, you've always done a great job.

Disneyland Paris Update : Animagique Theater, Big Thunder Mountain and more
Here is a new Disneyland Paris update, thanks to Max, D&M contributor and DLPWelcome webmaster. Please note that it will be one of the last DLP updates on D&M, one more will come for the new Mickey and the Magician show at DLP WDS next week.
Also, for those of you who still don't have the fantastic Disneyland Paris book, i remind you that we have now just a few copies of the book and the book will not be reprinted, so make sure to get your copy when it is still available! More details at the end of this article and you can see more pictures on the book website HERE.
Welcome to Walt Disney Studios Park.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith is now reopen! Unfortunately i did not found the time to test it.
A new warning sign to made its appearance at the entrance of the queue waiting for Moteur… Action! Stunt Show Spectacular.
Animagique Theater has now its new sign!
New signs to indicate the entrance to the Park!
Main Street station renovation will end soon with the removal of scaffoldings. See you in July for the reopening!
In all the parc, new electrical facilities were installed to accommodate the new audio system of the Park. It’s a bit too visible to our liking and at the expense of the plantations.
At Frontierland some painting in progress near Fort Comstock.
The Partial renovation of the ground located in front of Big Thunder Mountain is complete and has been rebuilt identically, with footprints of horseshoes and old wheel of carts. This part is now open for the gests, but the passage does not link to the other end of Frontierland and Frontierland Depot. So, the visitors get trapped and can’t reach the Frozen show.
About the renovation of Big Thunder Mountain, the cleaning of the mountain is now almost completed, and the next step now is to repaint. The difference of colors is spectacular.
The opossums will no return on the tree, unfortunately.
In Adventureland, the area around « the enchanted Passage of Aladdin » is closed to allow the continuation of the facades painting. The result is already striking!
Surprise of the day (Saturday), pineapple whip was out of stock at 5 pm!
The renovation of Adventure Isle continues with the arrival soon of a new floor in concrete on the pirates beach, the work on one of the bridges and the level of the lagoon that has been reduced to improve the renovation of the island. Unfortunately the silty water continues to rot, from green to Brown.
The renovation continues now with Space Mountain until July 1st, in addition of the one of Big Thunder Mountain and Peter Pan's Flight… It’s hard for the guests in the parc who are finally going in the Walt Disney Studios, a parc with less ride and capacities.
Max will be back very soon for a full report on the awaited Mickey and the Magician new show at DLP WDS Animagique Theatre! In the meantime make sure to order your copy of the not-to-be-missed gorgeous Disneyland Paris book before it will be out of stock forever!
