EPCOT 25TH ANNIVERSARY - a special celebration - Journey into Imagination Original Artwork
In tribute to Epcot 25th celebration, here is the part five of a series of articles about the original artwork.
In this part three we will have a closer look to the original renderings for the Journey into Imagination pavillion. As always, click on each picture to see them in big size.
The first one above - as the one below - show the exterior architecture of the pavillion, by daylight.
Here is a close shot on the pavillion.
Here is a rare first concept for the ride itself - i am talking, of course, of the first version of the ride.
This one show the beloved Figment character. I have to add that i always loved this Tony Baxter ride! Like many of you, i am still wondering why the hell they decided to change it!?!
This next original concept art is interesting - i don't remember that scene in the ride...but may be i'm wrong...
This rendering show the stepping stones in the former image works post show.
The slide caption for this one below is "the arts".
The two next pictures are not renderings, but photo of the WDI model of the Journey into Imagination pavillion.

I am enjoying your original artwork posts. Do you plan on highlighting Horizons and World of Motion soon? Or have I missed them?
