Disneyland Paris Halloween 2008 Part Two - Main Street Halloween
Here is the second part of my Disneyland Paris Halloween 2008 report, and this time we will focus on the Main Street decorations and the parades. Third part tomorrow will lead us to Frontierland.
Also, i have the pleasure to introduce a new Disney and more contributor, Maureen , a young and talented photographer - all the pictures of Main Street at night and parades pictures were shoot by her. Let's give a warm welcome to Maureen!
We begin by pictures of Main Street decor by day light, the "pumpkin men" are back, and they're always trying to repaint Main Street in "orange"!
On the Central Plaza stage, the "Disney Villains Halloween Showtime" happen four times every day...
The day parade always happen every day, but during Halloween a special Halloween parade is added ahead of the regular one...
Even Jack Skellington and Sally that we saw yesterday at Phantom Manor graveyard are part of the Halloween parade.
At night, a special Halloween "orange" lighting, creates an eerie atmosphere in Main Street...
Don't forget to come back tomorrow for the Frontierland's Halloween report!
All pictures and video: copyright Alain Littaye - Disney and more AND Maureen-aee whom i thanks a lot!
I love seeing these photos. Maureen, great work! Having just been to Disney World in Orlando I can see that the decoration in Paris is slightly darker in tone. I like it very much. Thanks for the excellent post and looking forward to the next installment in the series.
ReplyDeleteIt's a good surprise to see that Maureen is now part of the Disney and More team, Alain! I knew you'd like her pictures! :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to her who unfortunately doesn't have the opportunity to come to the resort so often, and let's hope that this contribution won't stop here...
