New UP! " Discovering a new world " featurette

A new UP! featurette was released by Pixar, and this is one is very interesting as it shows Pixar animators on their trip to South america - on the REAL location that inspired the South american scenes in the movie - where they did sketches and find inspiration to recreate this jungle and "table mountains" universe in UP!

Have a look below - there is plenty of new shots from the movie - and enjoy it!

  2. "A man should never neglect his family for bussiness.">Walt Disney
That is why Walt treated his employees like family, going by first names only. That is what is wrong today, as the man thinks about bussiness first.

  3. Slightly off topic but...Alain...with the opening of Toy Story Playland just next year, why haven't we seen any artwork yet? Since you are the # 1 source for Disney artwork on the web...could you see if some your company friends could provide you with some on this land? Thanks - Tasman.

  4. Tasman, believe me, if some artwork were available they would already be on Disney and more! But, no, no artwork were released officially (or non-officially) yet, sorry. TOy Story playland is not even announced officially! Until the official announcement it doesn't even exist!

  5. I think Up looks like one of the best PIXAR films since Toy Story. All of their films are great, I love them all, they truly do create magic. Disney makes some of the best films in the world. Up looks absolutely fantastic so far. I think it's great that they modeled Carl Fredricksen on actor Spencer Tracy, my mom's most favorite actor. It looks really hilarious: "Squirrel!!!" "With my wilderness explorer GPS, we'll never be lost! Oops! Karl and the bird is really funny too. "Does anyone know, where they are?" (screaching on the side of the blimp). I am looking forward to seeing this, maybe at the El Capitan in Hollywood.
