UNI Singapore Transformers Ride : First Videos !
Okay, folks, now things are becoming serious. In less than two weeks from now one of the most sophisticated ride in theme park history will open at Universal Studios Singapore, and this is going to be one hell of a ride! Based on the same technology than Spiderman The Ride at Islands of Adventure, but for sure totally enhanced, the ride will also have a fantastic pre-show decor as you will see in the videos below, the first videos filmed inside the attraction. Let's begin by this cable channel news report.
The next video is an official one presented by Robin Goh, from Uni Singapore Media dept and he will explain you more about the pre-show decor. Apparently, even if you have never owned a Transformers action figure or watched a single installment of the Transformers films, don't worry, the pre-show is built to transport the guests into the Transformers world and immerse you into the story from the moment you step in.
And what about the ride itself, you ask? Well, the video below will show you a bit of the ride - just a little bit...
...And if you're not afraid of spoilers you can read a review from a USS cast-member who already ride Transformers The Ride HERE. Once again, serious spoilers ahead, so read it at your own risk!

Will Disney have a Surogates Attraction with Bruce Willis as the host?? Demi
ReplyDeleteI'm really surprised watching this that it is the same ride vehicle as the spiderman ride. There is nothing new about the ride..... Did I miss something? I am not a Transformers fan though, why not invest in some sort of new ride track system.... something new.
ReplyDeleteBecause they can transcend a ride system already existing, or make it even better, that's why.
ReplyDeleteHi Alain,
ReplyDeleteI've written a ride report here that you might be interested in:

Maybe...?
ReplyDeleteBecause Universal is not allowed to build any other Spider-man ride since the Disney acquisition so, in a not-so-far time maybe they'll have to rebuild the Orlando ride and Transformers sounds like a good franchise to substitute the prior one. Just a crazy thought, of course.
This is really awesome! It contrasts a lot with the cheap Toy Story land post just below. Disney really needs to be careful, because it's getting behind for the first time since 1955.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a transformers fan, but the attraction is really elaborate and Spider Man is one of the best attractions I've ever been to in any theme park; so why not use its ride system again and improve it?
It is funny to look at the Tory Story Land post below and this Transformers post, Disney has clearly lost it's vision of an industry leader. In irony, the 'new quality' of Disney's product looks like the old quality Universal product from 15 years ago, and Universal looks like. Toy Story Land = Fievel's Playland or Curious George at Universal. I can't wait to ride Transformers, it looks much more exciting than any of the generic flat rides in Toy Story Land.
