Oh my God, is THIS modern Disney? I really do not like it, the "humor" is so contemporary and not fun at all. If this is the tone of the movie, I'd rather see Disney make no more movies anymore :(
I can't even say it's better than the first trailer, I really, really don't like it...
The Tangled trailer made the movie look boring too, so I'll give it a chance because I don't ever trust the guys who make the trailers and posters for Disney films. I liked Tangled and Wreck-it-Ralph for its "contemporary" humor and I hope that Frozen will have the same effect.
I am pretty sure that this is a collection of the worst scenes from the movie - no indication that it´s a musical (from what I have heard, it´s a full blown musical, not just a few isolated musical numbers), no quiet moments - just another trailer made to lure 8 year old boys into the theatres - in short: another big mistake by the Disney marketing. They should put a note on the posters: "From the guys who brought you the John Carter campaign and the Tangled trailers". (Is it really possible that those people have not been fired?)
For a movie which has been so long in production I really don't understand why they stick with the molds from Tangled when it comes to character design. It simply looks like Tangled, the Sequel or better: the Cheapquel. Man am I disappointed!
The animation here looks pretty weak. Tangled had some great animation, perhaps because Glen Keane was pushing for more good animation in CG. Here, the acting looks really weak, generic.
Ok, I´m not a huge fan of the trailer myself, but this bashing of a movie that nobody has seen yet is simply going to far. I hereby decree that everybody who has seen Iron Man 3, Star Trek: Into Darkness, any of the Pirates movies (except part one), Skyfall or any other insipid modern "blockbuster" has lost any right to criticise "Frozen" in any way or form. Any person who refers in any form to a real or alleged similarity between Frozen and Tangled and/or Anna and Rapunzel shall be forced to watch all J.J. Abrams movies in a row, until the last credits roll or the convict hangs himself.
The Tangled trailer was awful, trying to be all "contemporary" and "hip", and the movie was great. The animation looks great. I don't understand Disney Marketing at all.
