Disneyland Paris Update : Part One : WDS Ratatouille Update
We're back to Disneyland Paris today for a short update to have a look at the works on the WDS Ratatouille construction site. Most of the work is now happening inside the buildings, so hidden for any camera but there is still some works happening outside like the start of the construction of the fountain which will be at the center of the plaza, so let's have a look at all this with pictures shot this week-end by Max Fan, D&M contributor and DLPWelcome webmaster.
January is probably the worst month to visit DLP as the grey skies of the winter don't really give to the parks a warm atmosphere, it's the least we can say...
A close shot on the fountain foundations...
The entrance of the attraction is hidden for now...
That's all for today, come back tomorrow for the part two about the Disneyland Park!

I cannot understand why Disney Company choose Paris for building up this beautiful park. Try to imagine how it would bright if it were have been set in the sunny Spain or Italy or Greece¡¡¡
ReplyDeleteIt would have been amazing
This is going to be something really captivating. Awaiting.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous: Many insode the company were in favour of Spain (Italy or Greece were never serious contenders, for obvious reasons), but when Einer had made up his mind, there was nothing you could do. That said, I´m glad it´s near Paris - it´s just more central, easier to reach (and you can visit Paris as well!). The impressive attendance figures we see today would probably not be possible in Spain.
ReplyDeleteI'm also glad that it's near Paris, as it's easily accessible by train from all major western European cities; besides, Paris is the most visited city in the world, so it makes sense to build a Disney Resort there, even if sometimes is very cold in the winter.
ReplyDeleteI've just booked my trip to DLP for September, and I can't wait to ride this new attraction and eat in the new restaurant!
Would the park have been built in Spain, we wouldn't be awaiting a "French" Ratatouille attraction probably... ;)
ReplyDeleteAgain, this looks so great, I think it will be an amazing place. If only DLP (hotels) wasn't so ridiculously expensive, they attendance could go up after this attraction opens and gets good worth-of-mouth.
