This trilogy of artwork created by Tracie Ching pay tribute to three Stanley Kubrick's famous films: 2001: A Space Odyssey, The Shining, and Dr. Strangelove. They're part of a Kubrick tribute art show opening September 6th at Spoke Art, and i think they look great!

Nice work, Tracie. I love that you included the hexagonal patterned carpeting from the Overlook Hotel in The Shining. That stuck in my mind when I first saw the movie. All three of these are great.

ReplyDeleteI especially love the one of Dr. Strangelove, which is still the funniest film ever made (in my opinion - I love dark, cynical humor).
That's some awesome artwork and I agree with you about Dr. Strangelove Mr. Lime.
