It will be highly interesting to see how good this Marvel land will be for the amount spent, necessarily cheaper than if it was built by Disney. And we'll have the answer in four months from now when IMG Worlds of Adventures will open in Dubai!

How is this possible? Disney owns Marvel and I thought Universal was the only other brand that could use some of the Marvel characters. I also thought they could only do this in Orlando.
ReplyDeleteWhat part did I get wrong? Is IMG associated with Universal? What does Disney think about this? Curious.
May be IMG signed a deal for this theme park with Marvel BEFORE Disney bought Marvel...
ReplyDeleteWith Disney not having plans to build a park in Dubai, Isnt this a great way to extend the reach of Disney/Marvel IP across the world?
ReplyDeleteI really wish Disney would get off their butt and build Marvel themed lands for Disneyland Anaheim and Disneyland Paris. It feels like they're dragging their feet on it. Thanks for the update, Alain.
