I'm done with my doubt about the castle design! It's lovely! Once again Disney imagineers have me impressed! I'm so excited to see it in person next spring!
Not my favorite, but still I'm glad they went with something different. Just wish they had assigned it and themed it to a specific princess or character like they did with the others (Cinderella/Sleeping Beauty). Why not Snow White's or Beast's Castle? They don't have one in the parks.
I agree with K. Martinez's comment. It sounds really generic and not very "magical". Do all the princesses' live there? Do none of them? Maybe it's cultural. But who doesn't believe in princesses
I don't see this! The stone work is the most realistic of any Disney Castle! The asymmetry is on point with the romantic gothic idealized real castles of the world! Imposing? Perhaps a little, but given the scope of the park, the enormous "hub", if you will, I see grandeur and a hint of whimsy in the structure! Anyone else agree?

ReplyDeleteThanks for the updates, Alain.

ReplyDeleteThe impression I get - is deco-communistic-nouveau. The castle is a mansion - "Sanitarium Von Baroness" - a place to enslave.
