Here we go for the part two of the Disneyland paris update and this time Max, D&M contributor and DLPWelcome webmaster, is back with great pictures of the Disney Magic on Parade! recently, the costumes of the last unit have been changed and replace those of the 20th Anniversary. And of course you'll also see the Frozen float, hugely popular with DLP guests. The weather was also better when Max shot the pictures which is great.
You'll also note that the peter Pan and Mary Poppins floats are for now not part of the parade due apparently to an incident which happened backstage, the Big Ben tower being damaged during a wrong manipulation.
Here comes the Frozen float!
The pictures below show the new costumes of the last unit.
And that's it for this part two DLP update! As i told you in the part one I will be back in Paris in a few days and be in France all September. So i have a good news for all of you who want to order my Disneyland Paris "From Sketch to Reality" and would like to have it signed specially for them. Normally i can't do it as i'm living too far from Paris but all this September i will be able to sign personally each copy that will be ordered, whether it will be a french or english edition!
And to make things even better anyone who will order the book during September will have a signed copy at the price of a non-signed copy, i.e 75€ instead of 100€ ( and additional worldwide shipping remain the same at 15€ ). Only a very few copies have been signed since this book was published 12 years ago, so for sure it'll make the copy even more "collector's".
Paypal and credit card payments are accepted, so make sure to place your order now!
You can use the Paypal buttons below for the english edition, or for the french edition. If you don't have a Paypal account you can also pay directly with your credit card with these buttons without opening a Paypal account. If it don't works please send me an email at: neverlandeditions@gmail.com

Great updates as usual. I was in the parks last month and thought everything seemed to be in pretty impressive condition. Everything other than one of all time favourites attractions; Phantom Manor.
ReplyDeleteIt broke down both times we rode, and the second time all the lights had to be turned on and the ride was completely rebooted. Taking around 20 mins all in all.
Other than that, the bride and Phantom animatronics seemed to have somewhat limited movement, especially the first time you see the bride. She was almost entirely slumped over and her face was covered by her veil. Madame Leota was thoroughly stationary, though in fairness, I can't remember whether her table moves or not in Paris. There seemed to be less ghosts in the ballroom than there should have been as well. And on top of that there was no hitchhiking Phantom at the end. Another disappointing factor, was that at night the house itself was not externally lit at all, which seemed like such a missed opportunity.
I'm usually very forgiving, but this seemed like such a shame. I took my little sister on it for the first time and she was thoroughly unimpressed. I felt a certain magic was missing. I wish they'd put some time and money to spruce the old girl up.
