Star Tours behind the scenes - Video

Here is a Star Tours topic, today. First,did you ever wanted to know how it looks like outside of the Starspeeder simulator while you are comfortably sitting inside?



This youtube video filmed at Disneyland Paris Star Tours attraction will give you a rare glimpse of the Star Speeder moving, view from outside.






Those of you who were at Disneyland's Star Tours opening still remember the excitement of that special day. And those who were not - like me - will be pleased to discover the great opening ceremony on these two videos below.









As it is often the case Tokyo Disneyland have an improved version of the attraction. The ride is still the same, but there is a post-show audio-animatronic that i will be pleased to have in Paris version. To avoid you a flight to Tokyo to see it, here is a video of that scene.

3D Jungle Cruise , right now, on your computer screen!

It is sunday, and i have something fun for you today. A really good web site - disneyfans.com - have a "3D" movie section. They have been to Disneyland and film 10 different attractions in 3D.



You will find the link for all of their 3D movie clips at:http://3d.disneyfans.com/ but in the meantime, here is one of them below.

All you need is to find back in your home some of these 3D blue-red glasses - for instance, if you've bought the Shreck 3D dvd or the Spykids 3D dvd you have some of these glasses inside. Once you've got them, you will be able to see this 3D Jungle Cruise video clip in 3D on your computer screen. No Kidding. However, don't expect a 3D quality like in "Honey i schrunk the audience". But it's a fun experience for a sunday afternoon!

Walt Disney and the Multiplane camera - Video

One of the most important invention in all animation history was undoubtedly the multiplane camera .

It don't look like, now, but at that time, when Walt Disney productions created this fantastic tool, it was a major improvement in the making of animated features.



Today, on this old and rare video, Walt himself will tell you more about it!

Walt Disney World Haunted Mansion re-open - updated article with photos and video link

That's it, Walt Disney World Haunted Mansion finally re-opened, and the best video available on the net is on the "inside the magic" web site . I can't say enough how good their videos are, not only they are filmed with a high definition camera, but , too, with a fantastic sound. Of course, it is so dark during the ride that they had to use the "night mode" , but as you will see, at least you can see all the new scenes. Here is the link :

And, talking about the ballroom, i suppose that all of you know that the dancing ghosts are not a holographic or projection effect , but simply the reflection in the glass of audio-animatronics located under the track . Crush's Coaster high-res wallpaper photo

I've already post some high-res wallpaper photos of the new Toon Studio , but this one of Crush's Coaster is new and it should look good on your desktop if you like the attraction!

ASIMO robot is back at Tomorrowland Innoventions Stage ! Video

Honda's world famous Asimo robot is now "playing" again at Disneyland's at Tomorrowland Innoventions Stage since August 29.



Not only Asimo is so cute that everybody would like to have one in his home "right now!" - but it's a unique opportunity to have a close encounter with a technological wonder. The Honda Asimo theatre was inaugurated during Disneyland's 50th anniversary and is the only permanent show of Asimo in the U.S. During the 15 minutes presentation, the robot dance, chat with the audience , climb some stairs , etc...

And for those of you who don't live in south california, yes, i have a youtube video below that will show you most of the show!



And here is the official advertising video from Honda. I must add that the robot is not currently available on sale, and if it was, it should cost around - or more - 70000$ !



This last video will show you all the amazing things that Asimo can do !
