Hong Kong Disneyland It's a small world inauguration high-res pictures and videos

I promised you four days ago the photos of Hong Kong Disneyland It's a small world's inauguration on April 27, and here they are, in glorious high-resolution!

Everything began with a parade in a Main Street and the rope drop moment, with children from all over the world, and, of course children from Hong Kong.

During the celebration the Walt Disney Company announced the recipients of the first grants from the Disney Children’s Fund. Created by TWDC’s Worldwide Outreach group, the HK$1 million Fund was established as part of a pilot program to address the needs of children in the Hong Kong community. And yes, the man on the left is Jay Rasulo, in person, live from Hong Kong!



Talking about Jay, here he is again, for the Dedication Celebration speech, with the financial secretary of the Hong Kong special administrative region Government, John Tsang ...



And here they are again in one of the first boat of IASW !



In another boat, Ursule Wong, daughter of legendary lyricist James Wong, was presented with a plaque to commemorate the legacy of her father’s famous “it’s a small world” lyrics for the cantonese version. The Cantonese verses composed by James Wong more than 30 years ago still remain popular to this day in Asia.



As always in this kind of event the evening ended with a show and great fireworks!

What about Disneyland's future ? ( and new Wall-E videos )

Honor Hunter from the excellent Blue sky disney blog did a very interesting article today " The Shape Of Things To Come... " about what could be the future of Disneyland, Anaheim. I strongly suggest you to have a look at it HERE

Talking about the future, Pixar released a new Wall-E short clip, where the little robot meets with headphones! Here it is below, it's short, but fun.



And here is a new video of the awaited ultimate Wall-E robot, on sale at any Toys'R us near you later this fall, probably in october.

The Disney and more Tower of terror contest - Answers and Winners !

Here are the awaited answers to the Disney and more Tower of terror contest and the winners!

There was many people who found all the good answers this time, but as there is only three prizes and three winners, i had to ask a "innocent" hand to pick three names, and here they are below. Each one will receive a copy of the TOT collector's brochure.

French version: Bonjour, voici les réponses attendues au councours Tour de la Terreur ainsi que les trois gagnants qui ont remporté chacun un exemplaire de la rare brochure collector.

The good answer is 13 floors as we are "supposed" to fall 13 floors , however, as the hotel itself have "12" visible floors, i've decided that either "12" or "13" floors will be considered as a good answer.

This one was the most difficult question of the contest and where was the big trap. Yes, the good answer is " A Lion King show" as it was clearly envisioned in a WDI map shortly after the opening of the park. It would have been a show probably similar to the one at HKD and it was located where stands now the TOT. Some of you may have think that A Lion King show was not the good answer as there is already one in the first park, but this was envisioned for the WDS BEFORE the Lion King show began in the Magic Kingdom!

Cette question était la plus difficile du concours et c'était là ou était le piège. Oui, la bonne réponse était un Lion king show car c'éait envisagé clairement sur un plan de WDI - réalisé peu aprés l'ouverture des WDS - à l'emplacement ou se trouve désormais la TOT. Cela aurait été un Lion king show trés probablement proche de celui qui existe désormais à HKD. Certains d'entre vous ont sans doute pensé qu'un Lion king show n'était pas la bonne réponse car il en existe déja un dans le premier parc, mais le plan de WDI avait été réalisé AVANT que le show du Roi Lion ne débute dans le premier parc!

Disney's Hollywood studios Toy Story Mania : The VIDEO !!

That's it! Here is the very first video of the Toy Story mania ride, the one we were all waiting for, filmed here by DisneyHD at the Disney's Hollywood Studios!

You must remember that Toy Story mania is an attraction with 3D effects that can be appreciate only with the 3D glasses that each guest have during the ride. However, DisneyHD did his best during this filming and had the good idea to put the 3D glasses in front of the lens of his camera. So, let's all thanks DisneyHD for this great video!

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull : Here is the final trailer !!

The highly awaited second - and probably final - trailer of indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the crystal skull is released, and here it is below!

And believe me, this new Indy movie looks reaaaaly good! Less than three weeks now to have a confirmation!

Last news from Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull !

Less than three weeks now before the release of the highly awaited Indiana Jones and the crystal skull. And those of you living in the U.S who will go to see the Iron Man movie ( i saw it last night and it's excellent, by the way ) should have the pleasure to discover the new and probably final trailer.

A new TV trailer was released, it's short but there is some few new shots and you can watch it below.




Indiana Jones.com also released plenty of new photos and some like the one on the top give some infos. This one above shows a market scene and it's a Peruvian market - it's easy to recognize Peru with the typical clothes and hats. Which means of course that part of the action is set in Peru, and may be not in Mexico as we thought before...

Here are the other pictures showing Cate Blanchett and Shia LaBeouf who plays Indy's son.






The movie will have its world première May 18 at legendary Cannes film festival and is released in France on May 21, one day before the U.S!
