Dreamworks Sci-Fi Animated Film Preview "Almost Home"

Dreamworks upcoming new animated movie "Home" will be released in theaters November 26 and they've released a 4 minutes excerpt video. It's a fun animated and an adaptation of the children's book by Adam Rex. The story is about an alien race on a search for a planet to hide from a mortal enemy, the leader of the alien race being voiced by Steve Martin.

Here is the synopsis: "An overly optimistic, yet inept, alien race named Boov, led by Captain Smek (Martin), invades Earth to hide from their mortal enemy and make it a new home. Convinced they are doing a favor, they begin to relocate the human race. But one resourceful girl named Tip (Rihanna), manages to avoid capture, accompanied by a banished Boov named Oh (Jim Parsons), who has accidentally notified the enemies of his whereabouts."

New Extended Clip For "The Pirate Fairy"

Disney released a new extended 5 min clip for "The Pirate Fairy" released in Blu-Ray and Digital on April 1st. Although the target of these fairies direct on Dvd series are young children i have to say that the animation looks pretty good, as well as colors by the way, and for once the script looks not bad too, so have a look!

Saving Mr Banks Deleted Scene " Goodbye Pamela "

The Saving Mr Banks Blu-ray will soon be released - on March 18 ! - and it'll include some deleted scenes, like this one below, an important scene called "Goodbye Pamela" which happen when Mrs Travers decides to go back to England!

DLP WDS Ratatouille Ride Photos and Video Update !

It's spring time already in Paris and this week-end Paris even had the hottest temperature since 1880 with 22.6 Degrees ( celsius ) ! So it was the right time for Max, D&M contributor and DLPWelcome webmaster to come back to the parks and shoot great pictures of the works on the Ratatouille ride, and as will see, this time there is something new!

What has changes since last time is that the scaffoldings have been removed on all facades on the path located between the entrance of Toy Story play land and the Ratatouille plaza, the one that each guests will walk through to access to the ride. Of course the path is still closed but it doesn't stop to shoot pictures. I also remind you that the official grand opening is apparently set up for July 15 but soft openings should start from June 23 for cast members and June 28 for AP and WDS guests!

But some scaffoldings still have to be removed, probably in a week or two, if not less...

Nothing new, though, on the "halle" a building designed like Paris old covered market under which guests will probably wait in the queue line...

...but there is a bit more of construction on the fountain at the center of the plaza...

We will end this Ratatouille update with a great video filmed by DLRPFans just a few days ago.

New Disneyland's Big Thunder Mountain Mine Explosion Scene With ALL Effects Video

On the video uploaded by Mouse Planet two days ago showing Disneyland's refurbished Big Thunder Mountain the finale with the mine explosion during the last lift was not convincing. But this was because some of the most impressive effects were missing the day they filmed it. Now, they've uploaded a new video showing only this climax scene, and this time it shows ALL the effects of the scene, and it's much more realistic and impressive, thanks to amazing smoke effects. It would be even difficult to create a mine explosion scene with more realism, so forget what you've seen in the first Mouse Planet video and watch this one in full screen mode as this video was filmed all vertical.

Also, as we know thanks to Mice Age update last week: "Gone is the old earthquake scene with shaking rockwork and swinging lanterns, and in its place is a new plotline entirely. That final lift hill is now the scene of a mine explosion and fireball that uses digital mapping technology to project realistic looking flames onto roiling clouds of high pressure fog (think the spray can effect from It’s Tough To Be A Bug). Add in an all new booming audio system and some mechanical props that help set up the explosion, and that final lift hill is rumored to be quite noticeably more intense for riders than the old earthquake scene." And by the way it confirms what a reader has said, i.e you have to be in the seats on the back of the train to enjoy the most this explosion scene.
