Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway Countdown : New “Wonders of Deep” Poster Released !

We're less than a week from the anticipated opening of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! And to celebrate it, Disney Parks has released a new poster in the countdown series with special art inspired by the “Wonders of the Deep” short.

The new “Wonders of the Deep” poster features Mickey and friends – as well as a surprise visitor from the depths of the ocean! In the video short, a submarine voyage turns wild when Mickey and friends have to rescue Professor Von Drake from a giant sea creature.

Next week, WDW DHS guests will be able to experience Mickey’s wild cartoon universe like never before at Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway attraction. During each adventure, you’ll enter the NEW Mickey Mouse cartoon short “Perfect Picnic” for an one-of-a-kind adventure where anything can happen. Why? Because there, mouse rules apply!

And before experiencing Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, you’ll see posters of these existing award-winning shorts that might have previously premiered at the Chinese Theatre – all created specifically for the attraction by Walt Disney Imagineering and Disney Television Animation.

Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway Will Open March 4, 2020 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios !

As it is often the case during a media event with hundred of invited medias, Disney released new renderings on others things coming next year at Disney's Hollywood Studios, starting by this new poster for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, and this one announces the date of the attraction opening at Disney’s Hollywood Studios: it will be March 4, 2020, in just four months from now!

Also released, this artwork below about the opening in 2020 in Toy Story Land of the new Roundup Rodeo BBQ table-service restaurant, in which guests will be immersed with toy pals in the western atmosphere of Woody’s Roundup, providing a fun, family-friendly dining experience for Toy Story Land.



With the opening of Galaxy's Edge Rise of the Resistance ride, DIsney couldn't miss this media event to announce again the Star Wars Hotel also called Galactic Starcruises which will open in 2021. Below, a new rendering of the entrance and one of the Galactic Starcruiser.






Always about the Star Wars Hotel, this other new rendering below shows the shuttle that will transport the hotel guests between Batuu / Galaxy's Edge and the Galactic Starcruiser / Star Wars Hotel.



Last but not least, a first picture showing the inside of Remy's Ratatouille Adventure opening Summer 2020 at Epcot World Showcase France pavilion has been released! Those who know the ride at DLP WDS will spot some differences in the set below, specially on the left side.

First Attraction Poster For Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway

It's Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse birthdays today, and Disney is sharing a new poster for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway attraction coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Spring 2020.

"On Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, you’ll step through the movie screen and join Mickey, Minnie and friends like never before – bursting into a world where mouse rules apply.  And with mouse rules, anything can happen!

Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway will transport you into the wacky and unpredictable world of Disney Channel’s Emmy Award-winning “Mickey Mouse” cartoon shorts where you’re the star. The park’s Chinese Theatre will serve as the magic portal through which you’ll step from the human world directly into the unforgettable cartoon world.  Today’s new underwater poster offers a glimpse of the zany fun you’ll discover on each adventure."

More posters for the attraction are expected to come in a near future.

New Artwork, Logo and Model Revealed for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway Attraction, Opening in 2019

Yesterday, during the press event for Toy Story Land opening a new rendering was shared of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, the new ride planned to open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in 2019.

The attraction will totally immerse guests in a cartoon world and will feature a new catchy theme song created especially for the attraction. The fun begins when you see the premiere of a new cartoon short with Mickey and Minnie preparing for a picnic. As they head out, they drive alongside a train and find out that the engineer is Goofy. Then, one magical moment lets you step into the movie and on Goofy’s train for a wacky, wild ride.



The teams helping create the attraction are currently working with partners at Disney Television Animation to keep the characters and storyline authentic – and allow guests to join Mickey and his friends like never before.Senior creative director Charita Carter said the ride "is going to break the laws of physics and put you in the animated world."

In addition to the new artwork was also revealed the attraction logo ( top picture ) and the model of the train locomotive ( above ). The attraction will open in 2019, most probably late Spring or early Summer as Star Wars land will not open before  fall 2019 at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
