Star Wars Celebration : Rogue One : A Star Wars Story : New Poster and Fantastic Behind The Scenes Video

Star Wars Celebration has started and LucasFilm has released the new poster above and a special video just shown at Star Wars Celebration, taking you behind the scenes of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, about a group of unlikely heroes who unite to steal the plans to the Death Star!




In addition, we learn more about a new 7 foot tall droid, K-2SO: Actor Diego Luna says that the droid is a friend of his rebel fighter character in the movie, Cassian Andor. A brief bit of footage of K-2S0 was already shown in the first Rogue One trailer. When describing the character, Luna says:
 
"One of the most important members of this team is a droid, an Imperial droid that is programmed by the rebellion. His name is K-2SO. He’s probably the best friend Cassian has in the Rebellion, or the only one."
 
During the presentation, there was a brief scene shown in which Jyn hands K-2SO her bag, and he doesn't like the idea of carrying it because he's not that kind of droid. This droid has an attitude.

Disneyland Paris Update: Peter Pans Flight, Main Street Station Reopen After Months of Renovations, and more...

Here we go for a new DLP update, thanks to Max, D&M contributor and DLPWelcome webmaster. We'll have a look at all the renovations going on in the park, but before, i remind you to don't miss the summer special offer on the DLP book, more details at the end of this article. 

This week-end Main Street station reopened to DLP visitors after more than 10 months of renovation. The result is there. Everything is like new. Only one regret, the presence of burns on the « EDRR » signs. As a reminder, the station has now a new floor less slippery, simple corridors instead of unused lockers for more than 15 years, woodwork, decors and new gildings. 

Since 2 weeks, the structures used for the castle in Christmas season were removed after two years of installation uninterrupted . Their withdrawal is due to the renovation of the Castle, which will be fully repainted. 

In addition, the wooden bridge to the Tanière du Dragon was renovated, climatic variations in Paris resulted in the appearance of sludge in the water of the moats and concrete at the foot of the castle is still in poor condition. The surprise of the day:  mist effects of have been reactivated in the dragon lair (never seen it before). 

Let's move to Fantasyland!

Now it's possible to know what Princess can be seen at the Princess Pavilion. 

10:00 am, « Peter Pan’s Flight » has reopened after more than 6 months of renovations. It is a jewel! The success of the attraction will continue to grow thanks to this renovation which allowed a renovated lighting, animations, repainting of the decors and modernise the attraction with projections effects. 
It's very simple, one has the feeling to rediscover the attraction with animations that we have not suspected, like the movements of Captain Hook boat in the scene over Neverland island, in addition to the appearance of projections making the whole ride more immersive! Everything is brighter.

For the renovation of Big Thunder Mountain, the Painting is still in progress. The colors look great! 

In Adventureland, the area around « the Enchanted Passage of Aladdin » has re-opened and the painting still in progress on the facade of the entrance of Adventureland Bazaar. 

The « Pineapple Whip » now « Floating Pineapple Whip », has seen its price increased by 25%, from 3.99€ to 4.99€ (with tax). 

They've started to withdraw the scaffoldings on Skull Rock but the island is still closed for renovation. 

Finally, at the entrance of Discoveryland the rocks have been removed to facilitate the guests flow and for a complete renovation of the entrance, soil and non-replacement of the removed rocks.

And don't forget not the new show Mickey and the Magician at the Walt Disney Studios Park, a must-see of the Resort and one of the most beautiful creations of the destination since its creation.
