BREAKING: Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Attractions Official Names Revealed, First Footage Showing Inside the Rides, John Williams Score for Galaxy's Edge, New Star Wars Resort Artworks, more

Disney Parks President Bob Chapek revealed today at Destination 23 event the official names of the two Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge attractions!

The first one is about the awaited Millennium Falcon attraction in which guests will take the controls in one of three unique and critical roles aboard "Smugglers Run", the title of the ride. Here is a short video showing a bit of the inside of the Falcon.

The other name is the one of the BIG E-Ticket ride so far known as "Battle Escape "and which will be named "Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance".

Guests will join an epic battle between the First Order and the Resistance – including a face-off with Kylo Ren himself. Here is a video actually showing the inside of the attraction!

Last but not least, Oscar-winning composer John Williams has written new and original Star Wars themes exclusively for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge  and on the next video you'll see the recording with the London Symphony Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios - John Williams was not directing - with drone footage of the land, see screen captures after the video.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge attractions will open at Disneyland Resort next summer and at WDW Disney's Hollywood Studios fall 2019.

Don't go away as we're not done yet as new artworks for the Star Wars Resort were also revealed at Destination 23event with Disney announcing: "“This groundbreaking experience is unlike any resort experience you’ve ever seen. From the moment you board your launch pod, it’s a fully-immersive, multi-day Star Wars adventure aboard a luxury starship complete with high-end dining, space-view cabins and all of the exciting action you would expect from an authentic Star Wars experience.”

Here are the new artworks, guests will board a shuttle called a launch pod which will take them to the luxury starship / hotel. One of the new images shows how the launch pods will dock with the star ship. The other shows the interior of the pod. The first picture below show the arrival with your car at the Star Wars Resort before getting in the pod.

I suppose this next one shows an evening at the bar...
