D23 Expo 2019 at Anaheim Report with Pictures, Artworks and Videos! Part One: Preview Evening


The highly awaited D23 Expo starts today at Anaheim and a preview happened last night for selected guests. D&M can't attend the Expo unfortunately but i will provide all infos to you on different articles all week-end as they will appear with links to articles and newly released artworks in the best definition.  PART TWO article for D23 Expo DAY ONE is now on line on D&M HERE.

D23 Expo Preview Evening:

First, a video of Disney Parks chairman Bob Chapek introduces the Parks Pavilion at D23 Expo 2019, announcing several big upcoming additions to Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World.




Then, let's walk inside the "Imagining Tomorrow Today" pavilion guests can see concept-arts, an Epcot model and watch a short movie showing the concepts-arts for the new Epcot "bring to life".














Always at Epcot, a new attraction themed on Moana has been announced. Called "Journey with Water" it will be a walk-through maze where guests will interact with magical, living water in a beautiful and inspiring setting. Here are some concept-arts and its are from a picture of the Epcot model display in the pavilion.






This October, guests will be able to visualize all of the exciting plans for Epcot at a new experience center in the Odyssey Events Pavilion, called Walt Disney Imagineering presents the Epcot Experience. Inside this first-of-its-kind offering within a Disney park, guests will discover engaging and interactive exhibits that allow you to step inside the relentless innovation, energy and excitement and see some never-before-revealed details driving the future of Epcot all throughout this unprecedented period of transformation.


Guests can also see displays of all EPCOT attraction posters, past, present and even future as two more will be revealed on Sunday! Pictures by carlye wisel from her Twitter page HERE.











Always in the Imagining Tomorrow Today pavilion, guests will find a whle area about Disney California Adventure and Disneyland Paris upcoming Super Hero themed lands and it was announced that these lands will be called "Avengers Campus". When guests visit Avengers Campus, they will become part of an interconnected, global story that spans from California to Paris to Hong Kong with the Avengers recruiting new extraordinary people to join them. Inside the D23 Expo pavilion guests can see an in-story experience where they’ll learn why the Avengers are building these campuses. And on Sunday, BoB Chapek share more details about what guests will be able to experience when these lands open. Here are some new artworks released today for the DCA  Avengers Campus land.






Below, the artwork shows the facade of the Spider-Man ride at Dinsey California Adventure...


...but the one below shows the Avengers Campus at DLP Walt Disney Studios, as view from the exit of the upcoming Iron Man coaster.

About the Star Wars Hotel, the ship in which guests will be supposed to stay in has a name: Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, a first-of-its-kind vacation experience where guests will check in for a two-night adventure aboard a starship called the Halcyon, "known for its impeccable service and exotic destinations” throughout the galaxy, the Halcyon will offer well-appointed guest cabins, onboard dining, a planet-side excursion to Batuu, and more." Onboard, guests will interact with characters and participate in a story that unfolds around them. D23 visitors can see a model of the starcruiser.

Hi, I'm pretty sure taht the 3rd image of Avengers Campus is Walt Disney Studios in Paris, not DCA ;)
