WDW Update: WDW Skyliner Provides Perfect View of Ratatouille Attraction Construction Site !

We know that when we start hearing about "tapes" it usually doesn't smell good... After a public records request from the Orlando Sentinel, Reedy Creek handles the parks’ emergency responses and released Friday the 911 audio tapes, and right now some folks at Disney must be in "damage control" mode as we learn in the article HERE that during an hour an 11-year-old Lakeland child was on the phone with 911, pleading for somebody to rescue her epileptic and anxious mother trapped on the Skyliner gondola but also that stranded riders were crying, pleading for help because of their health conditions and in one case a man even had passed out when the gondolas broke down.

The Skyliner finally reopened a few days ago and Disney has posted a statement saying “Following a complete review with the manufacturer, we’ve made adjustments to our processes and training, and we are improving how we communicate with guests during their flight with Disney Skyliner”. So, let's hope everything will work fine this time...

That said, the Skyliner on arrival or departure from the Epcot station also provide the best backstage view on the Ratatouille attraction new buildings in World Showcase France pavilion area, so all aboard for a - safe - flight with some great shots thanks to D&M contributor in Orlando! The Ratatouille ride will be opening in Summer 2020!

Sorry to say but the people in the states are a lot of cry-babies. Being trapped in a gondola must not be fun I understand but to panic in that way? How must those people in France have felt? They were stranded in a ski lift (Chairs not Gondola's) and the last persons were saved after 7 hours. (can post link but site is in dutch)
That they try and make the resues beter and faster is good but come on people these things can happen.
