I'll have a new DLP update for you tomorrow but in the meantime here is a great video from Max - who is the D&M contributor for all DLP updates - which shows the construction of the Ratatouille area since the start in 2012! Thanks to Max!

More About My Yesterday's Announcement

First, i want to thanks all of you a lot for your very kind messages following my yesterday's announcement - that you can read HERE - that i may stop posting new articles on Disney and more in a few weeks from now. Comments whether on D&M or on the D&M Facebook page have been extremely kind from all of you, so thanks from the bottom of my heart.

Now, what exactly will happen: first, even if i decide to stop posting on Disney and more D&M great archives collection will remain and won't "disappear". Some of you were afraid that everything disappear so i want to confirm that it won't be the case and it's not at all my intention.

Also, as i told you yesterday my decision is not totally fixed yet but right now, at the time i'm writing, it's true that i intend to stop. There are many reasons for that, some that i've told you yesterday, others that you will probably know later. May be i only need a long break or a "sabbatical year", may be it's really a change of desire, that's what i need to identify precisely. We all have been through these kind of times when the old desire is not really here anymore but the new one is not identified yet. It often takes some time to find it and that's why i can't fix a precise date for ending new posts on D&M.

Some of you also have post some kind suggestions, like "why not having a team of volunteers who will continue Disney and more", or having a small monthly fee to access to D&M, etc... But it's not really for me a question of money, it's mostly a question of desire and to make a choice between different possibilities for the future. In two words it's a problem between me and me and no one from the outside can find the answer for me. Don't worry, it happened to me before and i know - as they would say in the Haunted Mansion - that i will find the "way out" in my mind anytime soon.

Cheers for now!

James Cameron : Sigourney Weaver is Back in Avatar Sequels, Playing a Different Character !

It's the big movie "surprise" news of the day as James Cameron and 20th Century Fox have revealed they've set Sigourney Weaver to return in the director's three Avatar sequels, although in a different role. The filmmaker begins production of the Avatar sequels later this year, and Sigourney Weaver  joins the previously announced cast returnees Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana and Stephen Lang.

“Sigourney and I have a long creative history, dating back to 1985 when we made Aliens. We're good friends who've always worked well together, so it just feels right that she's coming back for the Avatar sequels," said Cameron in a statement. "Her character of Grace Augustine, as fans know, died in the first movie, so she's playing a different and in many ways more challenging character in the upcoming films. We’re both looking forward to this new creative challenge, the latest chapter in our long and continuing collaboration".

The three Avatar sequels will be filmed back-to-back with the first one to be released in December 2016,  the second to follow in December 2017 and the third a year later. Released in December 2009, the first Avatar was the top-grossing film of all time at the worldwide box office, earning $2.8 billion.

FlyOver Canada , a "Soarin'" Like Experience in Vancouver !

If you're tired of waiting for a new Soarin' movie AND live near the west canada border then you might be interested to do a jump to Vancouver and experiment another Soarin' experience called "FlyOver Canada". Although not done by Disney this 5D movie including wind, mist with different smells, and a similar simulation system than Soarin' over California  ( although the theater looks smaller ) looks great and takes you for a flight over Canada from East coast to West coast.

Have a look at the trailer and others videos below and more infos HERE!

To celebrate Chinese new year they also did another "fly over" movie called "Flight of the Dragon", here are some shots of it.

Harry Potter Wizarding Worlds

As you know a new Wizarding World of Harry Potter will open soon in Japan at Universal Osaka and Hogwarts Castle will enjoy an even better location as you can see on this picture and its reflection in the lake nearby.

Talking about Harry Potter, the walls in front of Diagon Alley at Universal Orlando are down and guests can now walk and enjoy the London facades - but still can move inside Diagon Alley. Inside the Magic has posted the great video below as well as great pictures that you can see in his article HERE.

Sad News From The Stars

I've got for you today what will be probably, dear D&M readers, a sad news: I very probably will stop posting new articles on Disney and more in a near future. When? probably between the end of June and the end of July or August. And it will be the same for all my others blogs, except for the Tom Scherman blog, the Star Tours blog or the Innoventions blog where i may post new articles from time to time when there will be something interesting. Will i stop posting on the D&M Facebook page too? Probably, but not totally sure of that yet.

My decision is not completely taken yet but i can feel it coming and i prefer to let you know a bit in advance to make the end of Disney and more not too brutal for my faithful readers. Currently i'm waiting for the opening of the Ratatouille ride at DLP and Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida so i won't stop to post new articles on D&M before this will be covered.

Honestly, since i've started Disney and more seven years ago i've posted 3500 articles and talked about almost everything on every angle and even if there is always something new to talk about i think i'd like to do something different with my life. And D&M, believe it or not takes quite a lot of time every day. Anyway, i promise you great posts before ending D&M and in addition to the opening of Ratatouille and Diagon Alley i still have several pictorial  articles about Hong Kong Disneyland as well as others about amazing projects that you've never heard about before.

Also, i'm not sure that i will resist to cover fresh news about Shanghaî Disneyland so you might have a new blog dedicated to SDL coming in the next months, even if it won't have daily articles... Those of you who follow me on D&M since the start know that i've already stopped D&M in the past and come back two months later, so who knows, all hope is not lost (!).

In the meantime Disney and more daily posts will go on as usual for a month or two so don't forget to check them each day as well as on the D&M Facebook page. And don't be too sad, there is plenty of great Disney fans site out there who are doing a great job so i won't leave you alone...

Okay, see you tomorrow for a new DLP update!
