How Litlle by Little Disneyland Innoventions Become a Marvel Super Heroes Pavilion
Remember this rumor a few years ago saying that Disneyland's Innoventions will be shut down and be replaced by a Marvel attraction? Well, Innoventions is still there and we don't have a ride instead of it but little by little the whole pavilion is indeed becoming a Marvel one. And now, after "Iron Man Tech Presented by Stark Industries" and "Thor: Treasures of Asgard" that DL guests can always experience it's Captain America who will come at Innoventions on March 7 in "Captain America: The Living Legend and Symbol of Courage"!
Of course, all this is done to promote the new "Captain America, The Winter Soldier", but this you already knew it, didn't you?

I like it better than the ideas behind Innoventions. Disney should just change the name of the attraction to "Marvels" after the title of the graphic novel.
I think that Marvel deserves something better at the Disneyland Resort.
You're right, Marco, but you'll have to wait until 2020 for that. The date they envision to open a Marvel land both at Anaheim and WDW. But don't tell anyone, okay? :-)
@Marco - I agree, but for the short term turning Innoventions over to Marvel completely works for me. If they want to develop something for Marvel on a grander scale, I'd rather wait and see it put in the supposed third gate at the Disneyland Resort.
I wouldn't be surprised if in the near future the Armageddon attraction in WDS closes its doors and will be replaced by a Marvel Superheroes Meet & Greet.
DLP might not have money for any big projects in the upcoming years, but for a few millions they could finally close down the attraction that even DLP management wants to get rid off, and replace it by something very popular that even can bring in a lot of money (with Disney Photo Pass). They might even be able to generate more money by adding a Marvel Shop into the building, which would certainly pay off since at the moment there isn't a single shop in the WDS Backlot.
In the Disney Blockbuster Café DLP has already replaced the High School Musical section by Iron Man. So a Marvel Superheroes Meet & Greet would be a nice 2nd step towards an entire Marvel Backlot in a distant future.
Really Alain? At WDW? Are they going to solve the problem of the Marvel East Cost Theme Park rights with Universal?
This is what was apparently written in the 10 years plan of the WDC from last April. But i've not seen it myself, so i can't say it's sure at 100%.
Ok, thanks for the info Alain! That's very big news!
