What You Can Expect For 2019

In two weeks 2018 will end and generally it's the time when magazines publish horoscopes or predictions for the next year. Except that for the most it's all bullshit, we all know it, but apparently there is still some people who believe in these and it still help publishers to sell paper. It's unfortunate that these "horoscopes" are so badly done because they are for a big part responsible of the reason why people don't believe in astrology when, when it's rightly done is something pretty accurate and even fascinating. So, in two words: horoscopes are NOT astrology, and at a few exceptions don't lose time to read them as everything is wrong.

That said, and because i know astrology since a looong time almost as well as theme parks, it gave me the idea to do this short article with what is in store for 2019, astrologically speaking. And if you think that "astrology is definitely bullshit" read it anyway, just give me the benefit of the doubt as some storms are coming for some astrological signs and knowing it can help you to be prepared and even save your life - no kidding.

All symbolic paintings above and below in the article were painted by Yves Bady.

So, let's start by the good news and this year the sign who have the transit of Jupiter - the "lucky planet"  - is Sagittarius. And, as it happen that Jupiter is the master of the sign, it's even a double good news for Sagittarius natives which should be happy to hear this, specially after the dreadful transit of Saturn in Sagittarius that happened in 2015, 2016 and 2017 - if you are a Sagittarius you probably still remember it. But if Saturn is "Murphy's Law" ( everything that can go wrong will go wrong ) with Jupiter it's the contrary: everything that can go right will go right. Jupiter is hyper protective and brings luck, success and honors, and give a "conqueror spirit". So if you don't fall in the trap to be lazy - because everything is going so fine so why move my ass? - something that a Jupiter transit can do - this year should be successful. If you are a Sagittarius native and have projects it's the right time to put them in action. Be careful though with the "inflate" aspect of Jupiter as it can seriously inflate the ego, which can end by making ennemies. Jupiter will protect you against them ...as long as he will be in the sign and he stays one year only! Watch out also with "sweet" food as Jupiter like sweeties and with a transit of Jupiter you WILL get weight.

Jupiter also rules the far away travels ( and bring protection during these trips ) and either Sagittarius natives will travel a lot or at least strong desire of travels will be in the air. Jupiter enjoy also fun and party, especially if you're young, and you won't be surprised to hear that Jupiter rules every kind of parks, including of course theme parks ( Walt Disney who created the concept was a Sagittarius native - and, boy, did he had a lot of luck and honors all his life... ). Just be careful too about the "wishful thinking" effect that Jupiter can bring, which can make you think you'll get the Oscar next year when you even didn't start to filmed any movie. But if you succeed to break the "lazy" effect and don't sit only under the coconut tree waiting that the coconut fall by itself in your hand ( and it will! ), then you can achieve some pretty amazing things as Jupiter is also the one who has the "big picture" vision. So, yes, it will be a good or even great year for Sagittarius natives, except if you have at the same time a square or opposite of Saturn or Pluto to your natal Saturn and Pluto.

When Jupiter is in Sagittarius he is also in good aspect with the Leo and Aries signs ( a Jupiter trigone is a very lucky aspect, it's thanks to this that Trump won the election in 2016 when Jupiter was in Libra in conjunction with his natal Jupiter and in trigone with his Sun in Gemini - you can't have more luck ) as well as Libra and Aquarius ( a sextile is a position which dynamize ) but not with Gemini as it will be in opposite with the Gemini sign. Jupiter will not come back before 12 years so use it wisely and as much as you can!

Let's move to Pluto, "the master of the underworld" and of all hidden powers - ase well as of the Scorpio sign. Pluto is always in Capricorn and will stay there for some years as it is a slow moving planet. Pluton rules regeneration,  death ( symbolically speaking except if you're after 80 ), money and sex and the Capricorn natives who are generally known to rather be "the fire behind the ice" for anything sex looks to be particularly unleashed right now, especially if you're young. Enjoy it, and this year and the ones to come the Pluto effect will specially affect the Capricorn natives born AFTER January 10. That said, Pluto is incredibly powerful but when he is exactly on your Sun degree ( the degree of the day you're born ) it can be exhausting. And for the others non-Capricorn, don't mess with Capricorn natives as, if Mars rules anger, Pluto rules rage and you will remember it forever if you put them in "total destruction mode".

If you're Capricorn, watch out also for your father health, if he's still alive, as a conjuntion of Pluto with the Sun can bring worries about the father ( the Sun is symbolically the father, the Moon is the mother ) and especially if he is over 80 as it is the moment when Pluto is in opposite to the position he had when they're born. Of course if the Moon is in Capricorn in your astral chart then watch also your mother. Pluto rules also obsession, so for the Capricorn who generally are big workers you might work even more than usual and my advice is to definitely learn to stop if you don't want to be exhausted  and get physical problems ( usually all the sphere genito-urinary which is a Pluto specialty ).

When in Capricorn Pluto is in good aspect with the Taurus and Virgo signs ( trigone ) and Pisces and Scorpio signs ( sextile ) but in square position with Aries and Libra and opposite to Cancer, so if you're a native from one of these three signs and born after the 10 of April, July or October, be especially cautious.

And we arrive to Saturn which entered in Capricorn at the end of last year and this one has a very different effect. First, this year it's Capricorn natives born between the 1st and 10 of January which will feel the Saturn transit. Well, as they say in Big Thunder Mountain "Hold on your hat and glasses because this is the wildest ride of the wilderness". Except that it won't be as fun as a BTM ride. Basically, Saturn IS death. It doesn't mean that you will die but with Saturn SOMETHING must die, symbolically or physically. For instance, when Saturn comes back as it does each 29 years to the position he had the day you're born it's the end of a cycle. At 29 it's the end of the teen age and transgression without limits just like at 14 it's the end of childhood ( and the start of teen age ). At 58 - 59 it's more the end of a professional career, or an important change that happen in this sector. But Saturn is also the one which brings "the karma in boomerang" and if you did bad things during the previous 29 years then you'll pay for it ( see what happened to Harvey Weinstein, and plenty others actors / people ). Yes, Saturn bring back unexpectedly things from the past that you have forgot - or even buried deep in your mind - since a long time, and sometime it's not funny.

Yes, people may die around you, and with a transit of Saturn on your Sun in Capricorn, again, watch your father ( of your mother if you have a Moon in Capricorn ) especially if they are over 80. Depending in which "House" ( sector ) your Sun degree is the Saturn transit might affect either relatives or friends and if the transit is in your House 7 even your relation with your wife or husband. Yes, Saturn is "Murphy's Law" ( everything that can go wrong will go wrong ) and, boy, how true it is. Seriously, it's not funny a Saturn transit EXCEPT is you like to work, because Saturn IS also, work. And that's the trick when you have a Saturn transit: it is to work while waiting "the end of the storm" as your work will be rewarded at the end of the transit. But Saturn rewards only the SMART work, if you work a lot but stupidly you won't get any reward.

Saturn transits WILL make you tired, VERY tired, exhausted, really. And it can make you depressive too, or this kind of light depression which don't stop you to work but stays implicitly in the background. It will go, believe me, it will. Even if you'll think it's the end of the world - as Saturn don't make you see the glass "half-empty" but "totally empty" - it's an illusion of the mind which makes you over pessimistic.  Saturn cancel all kind of illusions to leave you with only the essential of yourself  and it's not funny, but new illusions will come back after, don't worry. But if you succeed to survive then you will understand afterwards that Saturn - who is also the "big architect" in mythology - will have help you to build the foundations for a new life.

One more important thing: as you've read both Saturn and Pluto are currently in Capricorn and will be soon in conjunction one to the other, a bit in May - June and then early 2020. Let's put it this way: it's not good news. Not only for the Capricorn natives which will have both planets in transit at the same time on their Sun degree but even "internationally". You need to understand that the planets transits have an effect on the thought. Whether it's for an individual, or in the case of such powerful planets for everyone.  To help you to understand, it's a bit like when there is a full Moon which makes everybody excited or crazy during the full Moon days and when the Moon starts to go down the stress ends and everybody is more relaxed. With Saturn and Pluto - two planets of "death" but normally with the goal of rebirth - internationally you have powerful energies of death "in the air". Last time that a strong transit between Saturn and Pluto happened ( they were opposite ) was in ...September 11, 2001. We all know what happened and how suddenly the world changed dramatically and was no longer the same. Now, both Saturn and Pluto are both in Capricorn and it could create serious problems for the world economy - which would be the best that could happen, if i can say. Because the other option could be a global war and a LOT of dead people.

When in Capricorn Saturn is in good aspect with Taurus and Virgo and Pisces and Scorpio so these signs don't have to worry, but in bad aspect with Libra and Aries ( square aspect ) and Cancer ( opposite ). The square and opposite transits of Saturn can be just as bad as when Saturn is in your sign ( i can tell you as i have it currently in square position with my Sun in Libra and it almost killed me last month - and it's not over... ) so be especially cautious this year if you're born between the 1st and 10 of July, or April or October. And, yes, it will make you too very, very tired.

Let's move to Uranus, the "crazy planet" which makes mad men but also rules genius and unpredictability. Uranus is back until March in Aries where it stayed six years and then will move forever in Taurus for the next six years. Taurus natives who are rather folks who don't like too much changes and can be conservatives won't like probably the Uranus transit, which this year will affect the Taurus natives born at the end of April. That said, if you suddenly wish to have transgressive friends or even aliens, that will be the Uranus effect, anything or anyone which is non-conformist will be welcome. And it's precisely this freedom of mind which makes the genius of Uranus, his motto is "i want to be free" so don't try to put your Taurus friend in any kind of "jail" when it will enter the sign in March if you don't want to get fired.

Taurus is the sign master of the House 2 ( money ) and with Uranus in Taurus during the next six years i won't be surprised if a big money crisis ( internationally speaking ) happen, or any kind of revolution in the money sector ( Uranus rules revolutions and IS revolutionary, he wants to change things ).  If you want to suddenly change of life and get the hell out of everything Uranus will help you to do it - actually he's even the one who will be responsible of your state of mind. The good point with Uranus is that it really brings genius, but at the price to make the cut with a lot of things, including everything you've been teached or believe in. That's the price of freedom...

When Uranus will be in Taurus he will be in good aspect with Capricorn and Virgo, ( trigon ), and Pisces and Cancer ( sextile ) but opposite to Scorpio and in square aspect with Leo and Aquarius which may mean changes ahead for these. And unpredictable changes as Uranus rules unpredictability so don't try to guess what will happen as you won't find it. One more thing: Uranus rules also anything related with technology and electricity, so be VERY careful if you're a Taurus native when you will touch anything "electric".

Next is Neptune, the dreamy / out of this world planet, master of the Pisces sign which rules artistic inspiration, painting, photography and all kind of mysticism experiences. Neptune is currently in Pisces, so "at home" as  he rules the sign and in good and lucky aspect with Scorpio and Cancer. Watch out as Neptune can also have a "wishful thinking" effect and make you love more dream than reality, including alternate reality with all kind of drugs or alcohol as Neptune rules also addictions. Pisces natives must really be careful with alcohol as Neptune will make you "open the bottle" more than ever. Seriously.

And that's it for the slow moving planets, the one which have the most serious effects. The others - Mars, Mercure and Venus - will stay in each sign around three weeks ( Mercure or Venus ) or two months  ( Mars ). I have a "one more thing" with Lilith, also known as the "Black Moon", which is currently in Aquarius until the end of April and then will move to Pisces from May. It's an interesting transit as it brings the subconscious into the conscious. It's generally moments when you finally understand what was "behind" but the problem is that the black Moon also forces you to transcend what you had the insight ( and what needs to be transcended ) and if you don't do it, watch out, as it creates a conflict inside you between your conscious and the subconscious. The black Moon transits creates moments where there is an overflow of subconscious in the conscious and sometime you're at two fingers to explode because of the overflow of conscious. As the great astrologer Joelle de Gravelaine, specialist of the black Moon was saying: "The black Moon rules all aspects of desire, orgy and carnage included".  It was, by the way,  responsible of the carnage that happened in Las Vegas in 2017 with the shooting from the Mandalay Bay Hotel. The shooter had during all the week a conjunction of Mars with his natal black Moon ( Mars rules guns and with a transit of it on a black Moon ready for carnage when it don't find a "way out"... ). But if you accept the insights that the black Moon brings it's a powerful ally which can make you free!

And that's it for the 2019 astrological planetary transits, best luck to everyone!
