Disneyana Auction at Potter & Potter on February 8 : Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Beautiful Posters



The Potter & Potter Disneyana auction is happening on Feb 8 and today we'll have a look at some beautiful Disneyland and Disney California Adventure posters that you'll find in this auction.

 First are these four silk-screened Mickey Mouse Main Street Cinema Posters, all silk-screened and untrimmed, of Mickey Mouse in: Steamboat Willie, Fantasia, The Band Concert, and Through the Mirror. Created for both Tokyo Disneyland and Disneyland. Each 33 x 23”. Pristine. Includes contemporary Main Street Cinema poster sold by Disney. Newt is the Lot 185, Lot of 11 California Adventure opening posters and maps. 1. Two copies of California Adventure opening poster. One has slight damage at top and bottom. 30 ½ x 27 ½”. 2. Complete set of four different opening day posters replicating vintage travel posters: Grizzly Peak, Hollywood, Golden Gate Bridge, and Paradise Pier all on heavy stock. 30 x 24” each. 3. Five copies of opening day map (not folded). These display an almost entirely different park than now exists. 34 ½ x 26 ½” each. You can place your bids on line for the lot HERE.










The Lot 76 and 78 are these Disney Gallery signed poster s, the first one below depicting the Old Hag in Snow White attraction. By famed Imagineer Ken Anderson and signed by him in silver marker, “Very Scary,” and dated 8/20/88. Mounted on cardboard with minor fading of blue background. 32 x 26”. The second one is a Disney Gallery signed poster concept art of the Haunted Mansion. Featuring iconic concept art by Ken Anderson and Sam McKim from 1963. Signed by Sam McKim on 8/19/88 with extensive hand-drawn illustration in two colors of a ghost. Slight fading to blue background. 32 x 26”. You can place your bids online HERE and HERE.
