Frozen Wins Two Oscars at 2014 Academy Awards Ceremony !
O-kay, the Academy Awards Ceremony just ended and Frozen received two Oscars for "Best Animated Movie" and "Best original Song" for "Let it go". But Disney didn't get the "Best Short Animated" Oscar for "Get a Horse" as it went to french short animated "Mr Hublot".
Others winners include Gravity with seven Oscars, mostly technical awards ( best visual effect, photography, editing, etc... ) but also Best Director for Alfonso Cuaron!
The "Best Picture" Oscar went to "12 Years a Slave" as well as the one for "Best Adaptated Screenplay" and "Best Actress in a Supporting Role" for Lupita Nyong'o!
The Oscar for "Best Actress in a Leading Role" went to Cate Blanchett and the one for "Best Actor" to Matthew McConaughey for Dallas Buyers Club as well as another Oscar for "Best Actor in a Supporting Role" to Jared Leto. Once again the Oscar unfortunately escape to Leonardo Di Caprio - as well as the one for Best Director for Martin Scorcese - and The Wolf of Wall Street didn't won any Academy Awards, just like American Hustle which also didn't won any, both being by the away excellent movies.
The Great Gatsby, another movie with Di Caprio received two Oscars for Production Design ( Decors ) and Costume Design.
The ceremony was hosted by Ellen De Generes and was great to watch - Ellen even bring pizzas in the theatre to the stars who were hungry (!) so if you have the possibility to watch it later today, do it!
And if you've watched the Oscars ceremony last night you probably remember this amazing moment in the Dolby Theatre when Ellen DeGeneres shot a selfie surrounded by many stars - Meryl Streep, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Lupita Nyong'o, Kevin Spacey, Jared Leto, Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Julia Roberts, and many more... Well, here is the picture, which is now the most retweeted tweet on Twitter ever, with more than 2.6 Million retweets!
