Editor's Note: After all the amazing news of today, there is more and this time it's about Disneyland Resort with the new Mice Age update. And as you will read unfortunately money is not gonna fall from the sky on DL like it will on Shanghaî Disneyland or Tokyo Disneyland ( see articles below ). And one of the reason apparently ( apart the huge extra cost that Disney has spent of My Magic + ) is that all the money added for Shanghaî will be less money for others parks. The result is that everything is on hold for all parks in the U.S, including the Star Wars land project, and more. But Mice Age also reports good news for DL 60th Anniversary with all dark rides being updated with the new AA technology and others projection effects so after you've read the incredible news for Shanghaî and Tokyo below, jump to Mice Age to read the whole update!

So I guess also no extra money for Paris and all those spectacular expansion ideas? So most likely WDC will fail again in making right their WDS 2002 mistake that dragged DLP into a deep swamp?

But I think DL Anaheim has absolutely no right to complain, because they just received for 1.5 billion dollar new attractions and placemaking. So what if they have to wait a few years?

I wouldn't blame Shanghai too much for this one. It's WDW's handcuff project. But that's the difference between Disney and Universal these days ...

- Universal read a few popular Harry Potter books, saw the movies and decided to create completely immersive Harry Potter lands.
- WDC read a masterpiece of literature, George Orwell's 1984, saw the movie and started thinking how that completely controlled society could be recreated in WDW, and gave it's visitors MyMagic+.

I might have misunderstood the book, but the people in 1984 didn't seem very happy in that controlled society ...

ROTFL !!!
Really smart comment about WDC/Universal; love when irony & culture goes hand in hand. ^^
